A modern legal practice with traditional values

Whatever your legal problems, Braydilks can help

You are unlikely to hear our name on the radio or see it on advertising hoardings. That’s not our way.

Since 1978 we have been building our practice in Cornwall on word of mouth recommendation. That means every client matters. It means our success is built upon the quality of the advice we give and the quality of the services we provide.

It also means the person you see and speak to will be the person who actually undertakes the work on your behalf.

From our offices in Truro we have lawyers specialising in family law, in civil dispute resolution, in wills and probate and both residential and commercial conveyancing including that of licensed premises.

We have advocates who work regularly in the County Court and the Magistrates Court and one of our partners is a Deputy District Judge.

We know how stressful it is to move house and how painful relationship breakdown and divorce can be. We know how frustrating it can be if your business is owed money.

Whatever the nature of the problem we will guide you through the legal processes and give you clear, careful and timely advice. We will make sure that you understand what cost commitments you are making and help you make informed decisions. In a nutshell, we will work with you and we will work for you.

These are the things that matter to us. We think they probably matter to you too.

FALMOUTH OFFICE CLOSURE

As part of our efforts to offer the best possible service at the best possible cost to our clients, we have decided to focus our resources upon our Truro office and have therefore decided to close our Falmouth branch office.

Prudent businesses of every description will be reviewing their strategies for the future and we have come to the view that we can best deliver our services by concentrating our specialist legal team in the one location.

The decision has been prompted in part by the reduced number of personal visits there as emails and mobile phones change the way modern solicitors communicate with their clients. We are confident we can continue to serve our Falmouth clients’ needs. We are quite happy to visit clients at home when required.

All Deeds and Wills stored at Falmouth have now been transferred to Truro.

Many thanks for your continued support. We look forward to continuing to meet all your legal requirement. If you have any questions please call us on Truro 271717.

KATHRYN MAJOR APPOINTED AS DISTRICT JUDGE

We are delighted to announce that Kathryn Major has been appointed as a full time District Judge. Unfortunately for us, this has meant that she has left Braydilks and moved to the south-east where she has taken up her post at the Croydon County Court. Kathryn trained with Braydilks and we are proud of the reputation she has earned for herself and our firm as a family lawyer. We wish her every success in her new full time career as a judge.

Julia Lilley is available to see clients about family law matters by appointment at our offices in Truro. She also carrys out regular clinics on Mondays.
